Job Summary:
The Retail Store Manager oversees daily operations, addressing challenges while ensuring compliance with Sessions Cannabis policies and government regulations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for those entering the cannabis industry at a management level.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and develop full-time, part-time, and temporary staff; maintain a culture of accountability.
Foster cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and drive operational standards.
Analyze store financials (KPIs, sales, gross margin) to enhance sales and expense opportunities.
Create a customer-centric environment and ensure high levels of service.
Manage store presentations to create an inviting shopping experience.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the community and stakeholders.
Prepare detailed operating plans, manage store maintenance, and coordinate back-office functions.
Communicate with AGCO, OCS, and Health Canada as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 4 years of retail management experience.
Valid CannSell Cannabis Retail Certification.
Police Check is mandatory.
Ability to obtain a Cannabis Retail Manager License.
Knowledge of cannabis products and related laws is an asset.
Strong inventory management skills and advanced computing proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours.
Reliable transportation may be required.
Must be 19+.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting boxes.
Some travel may be required, along with the capability to attend
presentations.
Management Duties:
Hire, train, discipline, and manage staff.
Conduct incident reporting and monitor store operations.
Create purchase orders, manage inventory counts, and respond to customer reviews.
Maintain physical and digital records of store operations, including sales and employee information.
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for ensuring all store duties are performed efficiently and effectively while maintaining accurate records of all operations.

Job Summary:
Sessions Cannabis is seeking passionate individuals with cannabis knowledge for the role of Bicycle Delivery/Budtender. As a brand ambassador, you’ll provide excellent customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and contribute to a positive community environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivery tasks, ensuring safe and timely transport of products to customers via bicycle.
Budtending Duties:
Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the day.
Confidently represent the Sessions brand and values.
Educate customers on cannabis products and safe consumption.
Facilitate cannabis sales by discussing products and accessories with customers.
Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
Use a cannabis-compliant POS system and cash register efficiently.
Organize, receive, and categorize cannabis products and accessories.
Maintain daily cleanliness of the store.
Check IDs for customers appearing 30 years old or younger.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Adhere to provincial and federal cannabis regulations.
Participate in company and LP training initiatives.
Delivery Driver Duties:
Safely transport cannabis products from the store to customers’ locations.
Verify customer identification upon delivery to ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and
any potential delays.Ensure the safe handling of cannabis products during transport to prevent
damage or contamination.Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
Maintain the bicycle in a clean and safe condition.
Report any issues or incidents during deliveries to management promptly.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of retail experience preferred.
Valid CannSell certification.
Clean criminal background check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
Availability for shifts between 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Basic math skills and cashier proficiency.
Cannabis knowledge and community connection are assets.
Must be 19+.
Physical Requirements:
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
Perform tasks related to stocking, store maintenance, and delivering products.
Ability to navigate and drive safely in various weather conditions.
Must be physically able to cycle for multiple hours or times in a shift.
